NOTE: You’re a bit late to submit for 2017. We already have enough (too many?) comics and the show is almost completely booked. If you really want to try to get on the show, though go right ahead. We offer no guarantees.
Are you a comic? Do you want to go down in history? Submit to perform on #BrokenRecordShow! You’ll get multiple sets throughout the week – as much stage time as you are physically able and willing to do. We’ve got plenty of stage time to kill and we’re happy to give it to YOU.
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS rules say: “All performers must be of a proficient standard. We define this as the comedians having at least 20 professional (paid) credits in a comedy club, theatre or bar and at least one year’s experience since their first paid gig. Evidence to prove this must be presented to the independent witnesses prior to the event and the witnesses must attest to this in their written statements.” Therefore, below you must give us a list of qualifying professional dates / shows to be considered.
You also must submit a 5-minute video of your act. This is so we can make sure you don’t suck. We don’t want to watch a bunch of dumb videos though, so to weed out the idiots and make sure our time isn’t wasted, we’re charging a small submission fee of $10. To punish slackers, the fee will increase to $15 on Feb. 1, 2017.. and to $20 on March 1. After submitting this form, you will be redirected to the Nashville StandUp store page where you’ll be able to make your payment via paypal.
Comics who are (or used to be) a part of (or are a special friend of) Nashville’s comedy scene and special guests of the show DO NOT have to pay a fee, because we already know you and do not have to waste time vetting you. Contact Chad Riden for a coupon code you can use for a FREE submission. We still need you to fill out this form though so your information is in our database of registered comics.
If you have any questions about any of this, contact us.
NOTE: Do NOT hit submit unless your 20 paid gig list is complete. We can not put you on stage without it and yes that means even if we know you and you did the show before.
