Spanky’s open mic every Tuesday night

The Nashville’s Funniest Person open mike stand-up contest – at Spanky’s every Tuesday night. The work-shop atmosphere features local regulars, nationally touring acts trying out new material, and the occasional lunatic wacko.
Comics should be there by 8 to guarantee a spot. The signup sheet is closed as soon as the show starts (usually about 8:30).
Weekly winners receive a cash prize AND a can of delicious Fresca plus move onto the monthly showcase.

Thanks for supporting live comedy in Nashville. Every famous comedian you've ever heard of got their start at an open mic somewhere. Increasingly, chances are that "somewhere" was right here in Nashville.. thanks to YOU and your support of live, local comedy.

I went to the Spankys Open Mike and it was the best thing since sliced bread. I laughed so hard that I peed my pants. Im still laughing now. It is the best theropy for depression and gas and upset stomach and Diarriaha. I think thats spelled correctly.
