Patton Oswalt begins another branch of his fantastic Comeidans of Comedy tour on April 20th, this time focusing on cities in the middle of the country. He, along with Brian Posehn, Maria Bamford and Eugene Mirman will be visiting not just in places like Chicago and Detroit, but also Milvale, PA and Louisville, Kentrucky. The day before The Comedians of Comedy premiered on Comedy Central, sat down with Patton Oswalt in a tea room on 3rd Street in Los Angeles to discuss his childhood, his beginnings as a comedian, his new show and his future. Interview: Wix Wichmann

Former Sony record promoter & official Jim Beam tour manager for Montgomery Gentry, Wix Wichmann, recently signed a record deal with Universal South. He’ll be recording two shows at Zanies in Nashville next week for this project. His cd, tentatively titled “I’ll Quit When Willie Quits” will be released in February or March. NashvilleStandUp caught Wix in between shots of Beam and was able to get him to answer a few questions for us..
