Thomas Weber (Exit-In dude) sues David Cross
From www.wearenotlaughing.com:
The former manager of the Exit-In, a well known music venue in Nashville, Tennessee has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Seattle, Washington against comedian and “Arrested Development” actor David Cross and Time Warner, Warner Music Group and Sup Pop Records for invasion of privacy, unjust enrichment, misappropriation and piracy of his voice and likeness that was copyrighted and published on a Grammy nominated comedy album of the year entitled “Shut Up, You Fucking Baby!” The suit seeks damages and an injunction preventing the distribution, marketing and sale of the album.
On David’s dvd, Cross comes across as kind of a dick (but, come on.. let’s face it.. being a really, really funny dick is kind of his “thing”), that said.. Mr. Weber comes across as a total douche.. so you can see how he would want them to stop selling it.
