Michael Brown’s “Brain Trust” game show came to The East Room a while back and the video is finally online! Season 2 Episode 2 – The Harry Potter Edition: Nashville-based comedians Chad Riden, Sean Parrott, and Brad Pendergast battle each other to prove their mastery over Magic and chase the Golden Snitch to victory!
Marc Maron returned to Nashville Saturday November 19th to do a show at TPAC’s James K. Polk theater and it was a lot of fun. Marc had a good time himself and talked about that show on his WTF Podcast, praising our own Josh Wagner, who opened the show.

Chad Riden loves hot food, especially Nashville hot chicken. A buddy tagged him on a facebook post advertising an eating competition in Franklin, TN and Riden had nothing planned for that night so he went. Turns out, he won.. and CBS This Morning happened to be there filming as snot ran down his nose and people around him vomited. “I almost died in this video,” says Chad. “If you pause it at 3:01 you’ll see a wounded animal, barely holding on to life.”
Riden runs a monthly stand-up comedy show in Nashville called “Comedy Cataclysm” where comics eat hot chicken and then attempt to tell jokes. The next one is December 17th at Third Coast Comedy Club and features a special headlining set from musician Mishka Shubaly.
