Manchester’s four day festival of music, comedy, filthy stinky crowds and incredibly bad traffic runs June 7-10, and as always the published Comedy Tent line-up is amazing: Aziz Ansari, Steven Wright, Marc Maron, Brian Posehn, Reggie Watts, World Champion Judah Friedlander, Childish Gambino, Rhys Darby, Colin Hay, Garfunkel & Oates, Amy Schumer, Mike O’Connell, Matt Besser, Doug Benson, The Chris Gethard Show, Pete Holmes, Rory Scovel, Ali Wong, Kyle Kinane, Nick Thune, Andy Daly, Key & Peele, Jon Dore, Natasha Leggero.
For specific times and line-ups and the latest info, you should probably just check the schedule at Bonnaroo.com, but we’d recommend just sitting in the Comedy Tent for the whole damn weekend. See ya there, hippies!
Chad Riden has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman’s “Tony Mendez Show”, several Comcast On Demand specials, dozens of independent short films, and was on NBC’s Last Comic Standing for exactly one MF’ing second. He has performed at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival (2010) and the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival (2009) and continues to tour the nation using his smart-ass super powers for good, not evil.
Here’s a video from the Memphis Comedy Festival in February, 2012, where Chad Riden talks about working as a college art school teacher and trying his best to not fuck the students.. and about buying condoms after his wife left:

Rory Scovel returns to Nashville June 5th at The High Watt for what is sure to be another fantastic Corporate Juggernaut show. Even if you’ve seen Rory every time he has played here, you still have no idea what to expect, unless you expect to see a brilliantly funny improvisational genius who uses his already excellent prepared material as a loose framework on which he builds a unique one of a kind experience that leaves the audience feeling like they’ve just started to peak on their magic mushroom fueled comedy trip. He’s one of the most innovative live performers of this generation and if you miss this show for any reason, then you are a fool.
The NashvilleStandUp.com Showcase @ Zanies is a showcase of the funniest professional comedians based in the Nashville area, plus guest sets from traveling comics, and a few up-and-coming young comics from the local Nashville scene. The line-up for the May 2nd, 2012 show includes: Chad Riden, Sean Christian Staggs, RonRon Moseley, Will Copeland, Gerald Giles, Mark Anundson and will be headlined by Renard Hirsch.
Renard Hirsch is a stand up comic out of Nashville, TN who has appeared in several films including Lincoln Heights, The Green Mile, Drumline, and Hannah Montana, The Movie.
