JOHN-MICHAEL BOND is originally from Chattanooga, TN and turned to comedy when numerous attempts to start a band failed. His odd take on positive thinking has been honed from years of drinking, social work, and long term love.
He has appeared at the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, last year’s Crom Fest, and for the last three years at The Fest in Gainesville, Florida. Now living in Atlanta he is a regular at the Laughing Skull Lounge and Atlanta Improv.

Since 2010 when Nick Vatterott broke-out at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, he has performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Conan, had a stand-up special on Comedy Central and is an actor/producer on the Comedy Central’s series Mash Up. Nick has toured with Chicago’s storied Second City and his sketch group ‘Heavyweight’ has performed at Second City’s Unhinged and the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival. He was the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman award in 2011 and before heading off to NYC, Chicago Magazine listed Nick as “The Funniest Man in Chicago.” Nick Vatterott’s comedy has been called high-energy, improvisational, unconventional, outside the box, but most of all hilarious!
You might remember his bit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where he forgets his next joke and pulls out a giant set list? Watch the first video in this YouTube playlist. Here’s an appearance Nick made on Conan:
Nick Vatterott’s new album ‘For Amusement Only’ will be available through Comedy Central Records on iTunes November 4th, but you can hear a Sneak Preview right now on SoundCloud.

Sponsored by Doug Stanhope’s Celebrity Death Pool, Stand Up! Records, New Noise Magazine & Altercation Records.

A native New Yorker currently calling Austin, Texas home, JT HABERSAAT has headlined and curated the Altercation Punk Comedy Tour since its inception in 2008.
Since then, JT has acted as direct support for comedic powerhouses such as Doug Stanhope, Brian Posehn, Andy Dick, Kyle Kinane, Joe Sib,Jeanine Garofalo and many more, and remains one of a handful of comics ever invited to share the stage with Black Flag’s Henry Rollins. Habersaat is also a consistent performer alongside many of Stanhope’s Unbookables crew, including Kristine Levine, Andy Andrist, Henry Phillips and Norm Wilkerson.
In addition, JT remains a requested support act for many bands, recently performing with such notable peers as Teenage Bottlerocket, Sloppy Seconds, The Murder Junkies, Krum Bums, The Adolescents, Lower Class Brats, Chuck Ragan, Tim Barry, M.O.D., Riverboat Gamblers, Dead To Me, Off With Their Heads and D.C. hardcore legends Scream.
JT has performed at just about every major festival, including Fun Fun Fun Fest, Hell Yes! Comedy Fest New Orleans, Akumal Comedy Festival Mexico and The Fest Gainesville. He is also one of six comics ever invited to perform on the nation-spanning Vans Warped Tour. JT has appeared on Comedy Central’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade as well as acted opposite Ron Jeremy in Troma Films’ Toxic Avenger 4: Citizen Toxie.
JT is currently signed to Grammy-winning label Stand Up! Records. His debut album Hostile Corporate Takeover was released in 2013 to much critical acclaim, boasting tri-colored vinyl and cover art courtesy of legendary Black Flag / Sonic Youth artist Raymond Pettibon.
Habersaat released his first book The Altercation Archives in May 2012, and also contributed a chapter to Chuck Ragan’s (Hot Water Music) new literary collection The Road Most Traveled. JT’s first authored stage play ‘Starting From Scratch’ was performed at the 2013 Short Short Fringe Festival.
Most recently, JT appeared in the zombie apocalypse short 17 Minutes in Texas (winner of the ‘Best Comedy Short’ at the 2014 Houston Comedy Film Festival), co-headlined the ‘Inflammable Material’ comedy showcase at the 2014 Punk Rock Bowling Fest Las Vegas, and was tapped to headline Doug Stanhope’s ‘2014 Superbowl Comedy Kickoff’ in Bisbee, Arizona. JT started www.TheRoadPodcast.com in August 2014 as well. He loves bourbon.
JUNIOR STOPKA is a Chicago born stand-up comedian. He has been performing, many times drunk, since 2005. His biggest compliment in comedy was when Doug Stanhope invited him to join him on his The Big Stink Comedy Tour. “Stopka looks like a retard and a retard had a baby” said Stanhope. The Chicago Tribune recommended Stopka as one of the top four comedians to watch. He has been called a comic’s comic or a creepy long haired weirdo. And he has performed in the Chicago Just For Laughs Festival for the past three years.
The son of a schizophrenic mother and alcoholic father, JAY WHITECOTTON has survived five years of homelessness, countless bad relationships, and two shootings. A total disregard for authority has gotten him fired from many jobs, while his lack of concern about money has made him comfortably broke. He would have gone to college had his savings not been stolen by his dad so he could “start a new family”.
While none of this has led to a successful medical practice or law firm, they have greatly enabled him for Stand Up Comedy. In just a few short years Jay has managed to feature some A and B clubs nationally, as well as headline some truly awful “venues” no letter in the alphabet could fully represent. Though he’s managed to work with some of his favorite comedians including Marc Maron, Maria Bamford, and Doug Stanhope, his proudest achievement is losing a local comedy competition for bringing his own judges, a 40 person Gospel Atheist Choir, and Jesus Christ to the stage.
Jay Whitecotton’s accomplishments include winning the ‘Texas State University Stand Up Competition’, finalist in the equally non-prestigious ‘Funniest in South Texas Competition’, appeared at 2013′s FUN FUN FUN Fest and Cape Fear Comedy Festival, and performed on the majority of the unofficial SXSW showcases put on by Stand Up Records. His columns have made featured status at altweeklies.com and can be found in the Backbeat, the Vent Nation, and Weird Magazine. Also he was voted ‘Best Comedian of 2012′ by the Current’s ‘Best of San Antonio’ Poll.
Currently, Jay Whitecotton performs with the Altercation Punk Comedy Tour between writing scripts and validating his vices.

“HG Chicken” is a cartoon with a voice cast that stars comedians Bobcat Goldthwait, Jonathan Katz, Maria Bamford and Todd Barry. A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for the animated production about an evil, mutant, time-traveling chicken (Goldthwait) and his robot sidekick (Katz).
The voice cast also includes filmmakers Lloyd Kaufman (Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke ‘Em High), Herschell Gordon Lewis (Blood Feast, 2000 Maniacs), as well as Samantha Newark (Jem) and Trevor Lissauer (Sabrina the Teenage Witch).
The cartoon is being produced, directed & co-written by animator Mike Salva, who’s made a handful of animated shorts that have had over 100 film festival screenings. Salva plans to make HG Chicken into the length of a half hour show, and to use it as a pilot for a proposed animated series. The video on the Kickstarter page includes a 30-second scene from the cartoon:
In exchange for supporting the project, backers can choose from rewards including digital downloads of the cartoon, onscreen thanks credit, posters, t-shirts, associate producer credit, and more. There are even options for backers to be drawn as a character in the cartoon. (One option even promises the backer’s character can “die a horrible and grisly” onscreen death.)
The project is live on Kickstarter until Nov. 20, 2014. During this time, backers can become part of the animated project and get access to the rewards at www.HGChicken.com (that URL redirects to the Kickstarter page).
