Ron Placone is a comedian, writer, segment-host and media critic. He has opened for some of the top comedians in country as well as the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. He tours the country regularly and has done everything from comedy clubs to bars to colleges to theaters to competitions to outdoor folk festivals, and he loves to travel. In addition to touring the country with stand-up Ron is the creator of the one-man show Madness in the Message, a multi-media performance lecture on the mass media. Madness… premiered in June 2012 to a sold-out audience at the Steel City Improv Theater in Pittsburgh. Ron plans to take the show to colleges, advocacy groups and festivals all around the globe. Ron hosts the mini-podcast, “Thoughts, Rants, and Cold Coffee,” which is nationally syndicated via the David Pakman Show and the Comedy Pipe in Albany, NY. Ron’s writing appears regularly in The Final Edition. Ron is also an active member of the Young Turks Network.

For years now Brian Barganier has been tearing up the comedy scenes in New York City and now is headlining around the country. The Connecticut native’s style runs comfortably on the edge of conventional and alternative comedy. He is described mostly as what can only be called “planned carelessness,” Although he is seen as being morbid or crude sometimes, Brian always manages to pull a 180 and find the funny in topics that sometimes seem untouchable. He has a full length CD and DVD entitled “Jokes Intended for Crickets”

His style has been described as, “..smart, heady… like a mixing anxiety, observation and self deprecation into a blender; introspection in story form.” Jerry finds humor in the mundane and uses his wit to illuminate the funny in the darker sides of life. He performs and co-promotes a monthly comedy series in New Haven, CT called Fistful of Jokes and was a Semifinalist in the 2012 Funniest Comic in New England Contest at Mohegan Sun Casino.

Actually, Joe Pettis will NOT be doing the show tonight.. But it is still happening without him. Will the comics be in their underwear? Should we stick to the advertised theme? It’s Joe’s THING. Also, does anyone REALLY want to see Chad Riden do this?! We’ll let the audience tonight decide: underwear comedy party? Or fully clothed comedy party?

Underwear Comedy Party started as a monthly show in Atlanta. It’s overwhelming success encouraged Joe Pettis to take the show on the road. This Winter/Spring, he will be traveling to over 20 cities and inviting local comics to perform in their undies. Each show features guys and gals, so there’s a little something for everyone.

Joe Pettis is a level 14 Comedian Wizard from Atlanta, GA. He has been touring the country since 2008 in an attempt to gain enough relevance to warrant a Wikipedia page. Having spent many years studying English Literature at various state schools, he now spends his nights telling poop jokes to strangers. In 2010 he was voted “Best Local Comedian” by the readers of Creative Loafing Magazine. His request for a recount was denied. He has been seen on TBS’s “Today’s Riff” and has made multiple appearances on the podcast, “Doug Loves Movies” with Doug Benson.”
