D.J. Dangler’s comedy is a high-energy blend of curiosity and commentary. He melds East-Coast cynicism with Midwestern politeness to create a unique and accessible take on the way things are or should be. D.J. tells stories that are hauntingly honest, but disarmingly sincere. Believing nothing is off limits, so long as it’s funny, D.J. pushes forward to prove his message that people everywhere, are pretty much the same, and that if you can make enough of those people laugh, you don’t have to get a real job.
The head writer for Comedy Circus, D.J. has performed at Caroline’s onBroadway, Gotham Comedy Club, and the New York Comedy Club. His debut album, “Where my sixes at?” is available on iTunes. He currently tells jokes all over America, except for Texas, and will make his European Debut this summer. His high energy style informs and entertains crowds of every demographic.

Avast, pilgrims! Here comes Plymouth Rock, and the St. Louis Arch and McDonalds and the mall and Abraham Lincoln! Wait–it’s just Friends & Friends, Nashville’s ONLY comedy show, in another manic-delirious evening of stand-up and unexpected comedy weirdness. Join host James Austin Johnson and a wily band of manky schnooks on a pilgrimage to find the Fountain of Youth and give everybody who was already here smallpox. Who knows, we may even invent a couple religions along the way (wink Mormons wink; nah man I’m just jerkin, you guys are doing great)! Featuring local talent, touring acts, probably some country music, and some visitors from astral planes that only your dying grandfather has peered upon, Corporate Juggernaut’s F&F is the whackest, mackest and–that’s right, ONLY–comedy show in Nashville. So Ameri-come on out to the show that will make you Ameri-come.

With his critically-acclaimed debut album, Death of the Party, his own Comedy Central Presents half-hour special and a recent turn on Conan, Mr. Kinane is already a juggernaut unto himself. Here, look:
