Jesse Case is a comedian from Nashville. Jesse was one of the “New Faces” at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal in 2010, he won the 2008 Rocky Mountain Laugh Off and was featured on Last Comic Standing in 2008. After moving from Nashville to Seattle for a while, he landed in Los Angeles. In 2015, he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and moved home to Nashville to receive treatment. His podcast, Jesse vs. Cancer has been featured as a top pick in the iTunes store and has been praised by many as hilarious, heart-felt and inspirational.

The NashvilleStandUp.com Showcase @ Zanies Comedy Showplace – a showcase of the funniest comedians based in the Nashville area, plus guest sets from traveling comics, and Chad Riden’s IRON COMIC comedy competition with jokes written on the spot based on audience suggestions. Follow and reply to @IronComic to play along at home.

The show is hosted and produced by NashvilleStandUp.com’s Chad Riden. The December 20th show lineup includes: Indiana’s Brent Smalley; former Nashvillian, now Knoxville-based Riley Fox; Nashville to Chicago transplant Ben Bergman; Nashville’s gift to Seattle Billy Wayne Davis; PLUS Nashville’s Brian E. Kiley, Mike James, James Austin Johnson, Johnny Q. Amish, Renard Hirsch, Gary Fletcher, “Happy Birthday Gary“‘s Sean Parrott PLUS a musical sketch from “Glasses 2 Glasses”, and Los Angeles’ favorite former Nashvillian Jesse Case will be headlining the event.

Jesse Case: New Faces class of 2010 at Just For Laughs Montreal

Jesse Case

The New Faces class of 2010 at Just For Laughs Montreal has been announced and Nashville native Jesse Case is on that list. Congratulations!

Jesse got his start at Nashville open mics before traveling across the country, doing shows and surveying local comedy scenes. He lived in Seattle for a few years, where he used the abundant stage time to his advantage. He since won both the Seattle Laughs Comedy Competition and the 2008 Rocky Mountain Laugh Off, was nominated for ‘Best “Short Format” Comic’ in the CLOG! Awards, was selected to perform at the Great American Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot and the Bridgetown Comedy Festivals..  appeared on Season 6 of Last Comic Standing and is now living in Los Angeles.
