Bernee is the inaugural offering from F3Films Extra Ordinary Film Project – 12 feature films completed and premiered in 12 months. It was staged and shot in Hendersonville, TN at the Blue Goose Cafe, one of the landmarks in Middle Tennessee. The city of Hendersonville also graciously provided firemen, policemen, and other locations. Over 100 Sumner County and Davidson County residents came out to co-star in the film, along with nationally acclaimed stand-up comic Heather Horton, appearing as the title character Bernee.
“This movie is about an ordinary person getting in and out of some bizarre but real life situations, just like all of us, ordinary people thrust into extra ordinary circumstances. What could be funnier?” says Bernee Director Jon Russell Cring.

12/23: Jackasses of Comedy @ Cafe Coco

NashvilleStandUp.com is giving away a pair of two tickets to see the Jackasses of Comedy Saturday, December 23rd @ 9pm at Cafe Coco in Nashville. Enter now to win: (EDIT: Registration is over)
December 20, 2006 UPDATE:
This show got the Nashville Scene’s comedy critic’s pick for the week:

COMEDY
THE JACKASSES OF COMEDY
Las Vegas has the Rat Pack, and Tennessee has this loose consortium of stand-up comedians, who’ve been alternating gigs in Knoxville and Nashville, with an occasional side trip to beautiful downtown Jackson. It’s a revolving lineup, with this Dec. 23 Cafe Coco laughfest featuring old reliables Jesse Perry and Chad Riden along with newer performers Rob Haynes and Spencer Ashmun (all of a decidedly precocious 15 years old). The fun begins at 9 p.m., and if you’ve made a serious dent in the holiday shopping, this might be a good spot to treat yourself to a brew and some cathartic chuckles. Call 321-2626 or visit nashvillestandup.com.
