Monty has been held hostage in the corporate world for years, and the comedy stage has been calling for him to perform. So perform he has across the nation, in bars, colleges, and on-stage. The Onion AV Club refers to Stefan Davis’ act as “conversational” which is good because that means he is a human. Stefan has performed for the 2012 San Francisco International Comedy Competition, the 2011 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, GA as well as the 2011 Laughing Stock Comedy Festival in Salt Lake City, UT. He can be seen on Comcast’s “Who’s Laughing Now?” and Comcast’s “Trial By Laughter.” Stefan can be heard on Pandora, 24/7 Comedy, and XM Sirius Satellite Radio. He does the dishes after every meal, says “please” and “thank you,” and calls his mother every week.

Stewart Huff @ SPiFFY SQUiRREL Comedy Show (The East Room) 2/9/2014

Stewart Huff was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky and grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has been performing comedy for over 15 years, beginning when he decided to drop out of college to become a writer. Currently touring theatres, comedy clubs and special events across the country, Huff reaches past the norm for his genuine — and genuinely unexpected — comedy. His knack for embracing the foibles of humanity and his refreshing originality make him as likeable as he is hilarious. A storyteller at heart, Huff continues to amaze with his clever material and personal wit.

Huff has performed in comedy clubs nationally and internationally, including the Improv in Los Angeles and New York, the Punchline in Atlanta and the Funny Bone in Omaha, as well as countless others.

Invited to perform in the HBO Las Vegas Festival, Huff’s act can be viewed on pay-per-view. He was also a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival in 2006.

He currently lives near Athens, Georgia with his girlfriend. There, in his crooked farmhouse, he drops off the various items he collects while on the road, including an antique barber chair, countless vintage photographs, and an extensive collection of LP’s. She likes this.

Look for him in the upcoming documentary Road Comics: Big Work on Small Stages, currently in post-production and slated for release in Fall 2011.

Blayr Nias @ SPiFFY SQUiRREL Comedy Show (The East Room) 2/2/2014

Blayr Nias is not your average female comic. She lives by the credo “If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll have to be a horrible warning.” When she hits the stage it’s with manic energy, high octane humor, and her trademark mega-watt smile giving her the nickname “GummyBlayr”. Winning audiences over across the country with a dynamic stage presence, she shares tales of her misadventures as ‘the bad girl next door’. This Massachusetts native graduated from the George Washington University with a degree in Theater and Creative Writing. She has lived in the South for the past 10 years giving her a unique blend of Northern Aggression and Southern Charm.

In 2012 she was featured in the Pink Collar Comedy tour at the Piccolo Spoletto festival in Charleston, SC and performed in the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival in Asheville, NC headlined by Jim Gaffigan. She was a featured artist in the Charlotte Video Project, a collection of short films about the culture of the city. In May 2013 she won the “Best of the Best” Award for Best Twitter Feed presented by Charlotte Magazine. She was also voted Top 30 Under 30 by Elevate Lifestyle Magazine in their June 2013 issue. In September 2013 Blayr was a regional finalist in Comedy Central’s Up Next Comedy Competition.
