
Nashville’s own Billy Wayne Davis has been tapped to join the Dirt Poor Comedy Tour line-up. Open auditions were held at comedy clubs across the country, and producers selected B.W. along with Dustin Chafin, Ricky Peardon, Big Kenny, Etta May and J. Scott Homan to perform at a show to be taped for television on March 20th & 21st in Knoxville, TN, at the Bijou Theater. If you’d like to see Billy Wayne perform right here in Nashville, he’s the middle act for Ralphie May at the Ryman on March 2nd @ 8 p.m.

NashvilleStandUp alumnus Keith Alberstadt will be a guest on The Bob and Tom Radio Show Tuesday, January 23rd. The only other scheduled guest is Bob Zany and his Zany Report, so maybe Keith will get a lot of air-time this visit.

Bernee is the inaugural offering from F3Films Extra Ordinary Film Project – 12 feature films completed and premiered in 12 months. It was staged and shot in Hendersonville, TN at the Blue Goose Cafe, one of the landmarks in Middle Tennessee. The city of Hendersonville also graciously provided firemen, policemen, and other locations. Over 100 Sumner County and Davidson County residents came out to co-star in the film, along with nationally acclaimed stand-up comic Heather Horton, appearing as the title character Bernee.
“This movie is about an ordinary person getting in and out of some bizarre but real life situations, just like all of us, ordinary people thrust into extra ordinary circumstances. What could be funnier?” says Bernee Director Jon Russell Cring.
